My goals for life, as of this moment:

1. Being stricter on myself during office hours (school)

2. Get it together, keep it organized, get (more?) hardcore about nursing

3. Live in the moment, while keeping the future in mind

4. Finding my place in the world, while enjoying the search

5. Honesty and consistency are the best policy

I want to grow up to be someone that my 10-year-old self would have been proud of.

Oh, how the cigarettes burn the throat!

Oh, how smoke clouds the judgement!

Oh, how ice cream cools the belly!

Oh, how creamer complements the Kahlua!

Oh, how you complement the friendship!

Oh, how cigarettes burn, again!

... I.E. How to Have a Good Summer.

will never wholly kiss you;

wholly to be a fool
while Spring is in the world

my blood approves,
and kisses are a better fate.
than wisdom.
lady i swear by all flowers. Don't cry
- the best gesture of my brain is less than
your eyelids' flutter which says

we are for each other: then
laugh, leaning back in my arms
for life's not a paragraph

And death i think is no parenthesis
